1 meter long steel bar extends and contracts 10 micrometers with a 1℃ change in room temperature. It is needless to say that a 10-micrometer error is an enormous value for YASDA’s high precision machining center that target sub-micrometer level accuracy.
YASDA’s 4,360 square meter temperature-controlled assembling plant space is maintained within +/-0.5℃ of the target temperature. Accurately machined machining center components are assembled in this assembly plant free from thermal distortion.
